Landing late at night: four reasons to book your transfer in advance
Options thin out at night. Booking ahead makes the end of a long journey easy.
From the moment you land until you reach your hotel, the big question is where your driver is. A few small steps in advance remove that question entirely.
Add your flight number to the booking
Your driver tracks your landing with your flight number. If you land early or late, the pick-up time adjusts; you do not need to update anyone.
Keep your phone on
Switch off airplane mode when you land. Once you land, your driver’s name and phone number arrive on WhatsApp, and you can message your driver there.
Look for your sign at the arrivals exit
After baggage claim and customs you enter the meeting area. Your driver waits there holding a sign with your name.
If you cannot see it, stay where you are
If the crowd hides your sign, send your location or a photo on WhatsApp. Standing still rather than wandering makes the meeting quicker.
