This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies the Perada Travel site uses. In short: essential cookies always run; measurement and advertising cookies are loaded only if you consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files saved in your browser when you visit a site. The browser’s local storage can be used for similar purposes.
What runs without your consent (essential)
- Security cookies: the site runs on Cloudflare infrastructure. Cloudflare may use security cookies to protect the site against attacks and abuse, and the contact form may include bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile). They are not used to identify you or for advertising.
- Preferences (local storage): your theme or video choice and your cookie choice (the "consent-v1" record and the 12-month "pt_consent" cookie) are kept only in your browser.
- Source record: if you arrive from an ad or a link, the campaign parameters in the address (gclid, fbclid, utm) are kept in your browser’s session storage and saved with your booking if you make one, so we can see which ads work. If you consented to advertising cookies, this record is kept in persistent storage for up to 90 days. It is not matched to your identity and never sold.
What runs only with your consent (measurement and advertising)
These tools are loaded through Google Tag Manager and set cookies only after you choose "Accept" in the cookie bar.
- Google Analytics 4 (visit statistics): "_ga" and "_ga_*" cookies, 2 years. Shows which pages are visited and at which step a booking is abandoned.
- Google Ads conversion measurement: "_gcl_au" cookie, 3 months. Measures whether a visitor from a Google ad completed a booking.
- Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel: "_fbp" and "_fbc" cookies, 3 months. Measures whether a Meta ad led to a booking and lets us show our ad on Instagram/Facebook to people who visited the site (retargeting).
If you do not consent, Google tags set no cookies and the Meta Pixel is not loaded at all; booking is unaffected.
Managing cookies
You can change your choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings; if you block essential cookies, parts of the site may not work.
